Saturday July 23rd
Supper was a box of hot chicken and veggies, side salad of tomatoes and boccinni, bread bun and butter, chocolate pie/cake. Open bar on all alcohol yikes..

Breakfast was multi grain croissant /jam, cereal bar and raisins.

Jacob doesn't do like flights well and threw up 10 minutes before we landed. We couldn't deplane for 40 minutes as another plane was stuck I our gate so we did the old 'get off the plane and get on the shuttle bus' game.
We arrived at Terminal 5 to discover our flight delayed 30 minutes thank goodness.  We walked all over the place people and place watching for an hour before getting onto the plane. There was yet another strike in Italy which is quite common son were delayed coming out of London.
We were on our way and flew out of beautiful London into blue skies headed for Rome! The weather report was blues skies and 30 degrees! Yahoo!

Open bar again on the plane! This time I tried a Tiger from Singapore. Wonderful. And Free!

The boys slept all the way to Rome as there was no TV service. They both looked so young leaning on Krista's shoulder and Jacob on her lap. So many memories of travel over the last 15 years yet some things never change...

A couple of teachers had 20 teenagers on a field trip to London and back. These kids spoke 1000 mph and stood the whole flight. Even when the seat belt light was on, there was a party on the plane and they were it. Standing. Cheering. And speaking as fast as humanly possible. Fun stuff...

We gained yet another hour so we will be 8 hours ahead of Calgary for the next 10 days. 28 and sunny awaits us on the ground.

Krista and the boys keep drifting in and out of consciousness.  It's been a long day with not a lot of sleep.
